Oh poor CW! That must have been rough! I hate to break it to you, but they don't get much better with age. I am 33 and my Mom is 59 and she still pulls crazy embarrassing stuff like that. I feel for ya babe. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I can sympathise with you i'm 39 and if my mum was still alive she would be doing the same kind of things http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

Sorry to hear CW, I really feel for you http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif I can totally relate to this: some years back I had a friend over when I was home alone. While we were listening to music, dancing and singing my mom came home.....and started dancing and singing really loud and false http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif My friend thought it was cool, but I was so embarassed

Cheer up CW, she could be telling him about all the silly things that you have done! ( haven't we all made mistakes?)

I dunno what that's like...Your quote made me think, Draco. CW, actually, if you think about it, wouldn't you rather put up with all that nonsense, then to not have your Mom at all? My hubby lost his is Mom to breast cancer when he was only 9 years old and she was just 34. He was and still is devastated by her passing. I bet if he were a member here he would be wishing his Mom were around to show off his baby pictures. :(

BTW, his Mom looked exactly like Lucy Lawless (Xena: Warrior Princess), so much so that Todd's brother had a hard time watching the show when it was on.
Here's a pic of a painting of her:

I totally agree with you Shandroid I'd rather put up with all that stuff, then to not have a mom at all. Everyday my mom pack's me a lunch for school and she leaves me little notes on my PB and J and gives me a card 1 day a week I love my mother and wouldn't trade her for anything in the world http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif

They're humiliating and can be a pain, but theyre always there for you in hard times and always will be, i love my mum, no matter how embaressed she may make me infront of my BF, or how much we argue i'll always love her http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif

My mom usually haven't been that bad when I have had friends or bf's over. What always worried me was my sister. She's a total nut sometimes and isn't afraid to show it. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/clown.gif

Then again, I still love her to bits and wouldn't trade her for anything! I'd be a big fat nothing if it weren't for my family!

Aww.. that is so cute!

I am not close with my mother, however my father has really been an embarassment on occasion, it is a wonder I even had any dates at all http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif

hehe Im terrified about G meeting my dad, because my dad tries to tell jokes which just aint funny! I hate it when he does that http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/violent.gif

03-02-04, 17:00
Hahaha, understand your concern CW. Can't you just warn G about it so that he already knows? Then it wont be nearly as bad! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif
