I totally agree, things seemed so much more fun when you were a kid, like i went on this rollercoaster that i hadnt been on since i was a kid, i used to think it was really fast, it turns out, its quite slow lol.

When i was a kid i didn't had homework. I always could play outside. climbing etc. But if you clim now into things people look strange at ya. But actually i don't really care, i just do what i want. Another thing is the money, know i have to work for my money. Another stressfull thing is school, you just have to be succesfull otherwise your futher wouldn't look so great.
As a child your life was simply relaxing. But there some disavantages too. You probably couldn't stay long outside, you couldn't go out, you didn't had so much freedom as you become older. Adults can do whatever they want to, they can ride cars etc.

SWINGS?! Whenever i see one, i swing for at least an hour. Oh i LOVE it!
Indeed, some people (mothers with a kid) look strange at me when their kid wants its turn, as if i have no right and the kid would have all right to swing. Just wait your turn i say! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/c-2.gif

I know! I love like the climbing frames and stuff at parks, and whenever little kids come, and you get in there way, the parents get all stroppy about you being on there.
I mean its not like theres an age limit.

I still have "the little girl" inside me and am in the lucky position to work with young children.
So I have an "alibi" to do "childish" things and I take full advantage of it. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

And - as most of you here - I love swings , I just can't resist them!!! So whenever I see one (or at least most of the times) I have to have a go.
Yes, I do get some funny looks sometimes, but that doesn't bother me at all. And David (my partner) is used to me being me and does not get embarrassed either.

Gosh! I am one lucky person!!! :D http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

I think I don't want to be 16 or 15...maybe 10. It's just that I start thinking that i'd have all i have gone through ahead of me again...not a nice feeling. But just for the fun and the way kids see life...now when you grow up you see things from another perspective which is not always nice.

Let's say I would like to be from 10 to 13, but not from 13 to 19... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif

i didnt really miss all the toys and other stuff like swings and climbing frames... i just missed the feeling of being a child.. the feeling of being free to do whatever u want during the day - no responsibilities, no concern about the stuff u have to do and everything.. i miss that simple little world i used to live in wehn i was a child.
its the simplest period of our lives cause as we grow up and become more and more mature 'the world gets bigger' and everything becomes more and more complicated and its only then that we understand we'll never have the chance to enjoy the simple life of a child again! which is kinda sad :|

Nay, thats true.
I had loads of fun in my back garden. My mum told me not long ago...that when i was much younger, we had a small fence that divided our garden from the next door neighbours. And i would "water the plants" but instead i was being nosey and watching next doors people in their garden,, and i'd "accidently" spray them with the hose. hehe http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/mischievous.gif

lol K.

I really miss climbing trees. We used to get up on a tree, all of us friends, and read comic books and drink soda all day long! Those were the days.

Once I climbed our wall to steal guavas from the neighbours tree and I fell in but fortunately noone was home except the servant who went out the back door to see what the noise was all about while I snuck out from the front gate. Home safe!! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

haha I used to climb trees and I loved the swings!!!

My father built me this swing set thingo when I was younger and well.....we never actually fixed it to the ground lol http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif So once you got to a certain height the swing would start tipping over :( I wanted to swing soooo high!!!

I had a knack for breaking my leg...I only broke my finger once...and i broke it so bad, its crooked for life :( . Actually it was the doc, she told me nothing was wrong with my finger but after I X-rayed it after it continued to hurt, it revealed a chipped bone with some funny fibrous outgrowth which meant that the chip couldnt be replaced unless I wanted to undergo surgery.

Yea, i was swinging on the rope swing one day, and my friend decided it would be funny to throw a stick at me, except he threw quite a large stick at me, so it hit my in the stomach, which winded me, so i automatically let go of the rope swing, and flew into a wall.
So i broke both at the same time lol.

The only problem now is lifting heavy stuff, its alright for a little while, then my wrists start the ache, all due to breaking them both.

Ouch nephili! I wonder what you did to your 'friend'. When did this happen?

Well, this happened to me once too...my friends and I were climbing a stone pile [one day before my birthday :( ] when I slipped and landed my foot on a broken porcelain pot. Got seven stitches off that one and my foot still tingles sometimes when I walk in dirt.
