Haha, Justin! :D

TLR --> I think it's the contrast between them that does it. Never have any problem with white pages in general, but something about these coulors sort of makes them jump and mix together...

Cool Deano!!

Now the background had a very nice shade! I do love my greys.
A thought; in the "messages-box" there should be one colour spanning over the entire message, ie text and avatar-area. The little bar at the top, with date and time, can have a slightly different tone.

It's too much of a chessboard really. If the colours aren't as "equally sized boxes" - it might be very good as it is...
Anyone else?? Or am I single on this? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/clown.gif

I'm liking the new look- I think that a dark red font would look great along with this new colour scheme as Celli said. It might even be a good idea to use red for the border or something like that- that way we have more contrast and it is not so bleached.

The avators look great against the background!

justin
06-02-04, 03:51

justin
06-02-04, 03:53
Hmm, it's really nice, but maybe lighten the background a tad *so my avatar looks good ;) *

And i guess the color of font could be darker... this is alot of finetuning, thanx for the effort tlr ;)

This is a second home to some of us. Doubt you'd let someone chuck your entire house out the window and build you a new one without getting a say... ;) http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

Nat there were a few of us who did have a say and we were ignored. You're kind of saying that you have a problem with that I'm saying. So how is it different from when you were begging and pleading with tlr to change it? The forum was in due need of a facelift, and we're just about back at square one.

And on the topic, our house is in the process of being remodelled yet again. (goodbye more money that could have been for college)

I didn't beg and plead! I asked.
The previous arragement was troubling for my eyes, but I didn't ask and automatically asume that Tlr would actually change it!!
I am very glad that he did! And I appreciate everything he does on this forum!

Again, I am sorry you took it that way, because I really did not mean any disrepect towards you! We have different opinions, that's all. Not the end of the world!

Nat http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif

To me, this wouldn't have been such a big deal if maybe the decision had been put off longer until more people had seen the new look. I'm not trying to say this is why tlr did it, but when he made the FAO: NatEcho thread the immediate feeling I got was that he changed it especially for you. Maybe if it had said FAO: everyone, it would have been different.
