Hey BB! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

You a fellow musician? (Now that I'm thinking of it, you did mention a guitar in one of your previous posts http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif )

I too play the guitar (acoustic) and the piano (a little). I also sing (helps calming Boaz down LOL).

Congrats on the band!

a little off subject but i just saw an advert for Fray bentos pie lol.
anyway, how long have you played guitar?

07-02-04, 22:08
Sorry for your fingers... The skin will get harder in time so they won't hurt at all when you play. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I've been playing guitar for about... um, 20 years (now I do feel decrepit! )...

BB http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

07-02-04, 22:14

Pretty much anything. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif I love classic Rock. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

You know, the peeling off of the skin in guitarists' fingers is a badge of artistic bravery. ;)

nice bubble!

07-02-04, 23:55
I play a little electric guitar but my main instrument is bass Guitar.

Been playing just inder 2 years and im in a mleoldic/metal band. you done any gigs yet Bubble????

Giging is what its all about i tell ya, no better feeling when your stood in front of say 500 people and you play your songs and people clap and go mad for a song that you wrote and put your heart and soul in to,

with boaz's b/f playing so long i bet youve giged right???

Do you not feel the same when giging????

But keep it up dude and dont stop playing put loads of practice in and its very rewarding in the end. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

and congtats on the band hope you enjoy it as much as i do :D and best of luck

Boaz's Boyfriend, do you by any chance do classic Spanish?

08-02-04, 20:47
thanks Episode , i will do http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

08-02-04, 22:54
Episode - Yeah, the feeling is something you can't really describe. I don't do concerts often but to tell you the truth, whenever I'm on stage I usually forget there's an audience or anything else around. There's just me, the guitar and the microphone. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif It's kind of ecstatic, like losing yourself in the music and becoming one with it. I've heard other artists talking about panicking each time they realise they're performing before tens of people, but it's never happened to me! I've always thought that was weird - but maybe I'm the weird one. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Annacia - Actually it was classic Spanish I started from. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif But I soon bought myself a Yamaha Eterna (that was at 16), and reverted to acoustic for good... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

BB - Hi! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

09-02-04, 00:24
Just wondered as I have a fondness for Spanish guitar. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

09-02-04, 01:12
Me too. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif But I prefer listening to others play. Anyway I'm afraid I'm not as good as at playing rock ballads on the acoustic. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif Great go! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif I wanted to learn some time ago to play a guitar, but nobody im my family had a hope, so I let it down :( But still, I'm a classic rock'n roll fan :D , only its a pitty that very small amount of persons here (the isle) listens to it :(

BB couldnt have desribed it better, with me though i dont get nervousa at all, i think im some kind of freak lol http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yikes.gif

But its magical feeling and i love to put on a show for the people, i mean they've travelled here to see a good show so i(and all of the band) give it to them. any one can just stand there and play but you gotta feel the music and get in to it, an example of this,

Other night i went to local pub to see a heavy meatal band, and they were all amazing musicians and themusic was fantastic, but there problem was they were rooted to the spot, and frankly they were boring to watch because it wasnt interesting, Although the bass player was a bit of a nutter. there was only him proper going for it. which was what kept me there for a bit longer
