View Full Version : ~*Graduation in two days*~
That's right, in two days I graduate high school and enter 'the real world.'
I'm so depressed about it but especially depressed at the fact that all of my friends will be moving away and the closest one to me will be a four hour drive. My dearest friend is going pretty much across the country. I don't know what I'm going to do without them!!
I am, however, lightly excited to get out of high school and go to college where people actually want to be there and aren't just coming because the law requires them to.
I'm really really scared, though!! Gaaaaahhh!!
Good look on whatever you chose to do! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

All part of growing up. Scary, but thats life.
She'll be right mate!
I hope college is all what you expect of it and more!
Don't pannic, you won't lose you closest friends, and I'm sure you will make new ones.
im graduating tomorrow too. but i can't say that im depressed about it.. im actually very happy because i havent had the best time in high school.
just think that youre friends are feeling the same - sad to leave but a little excited. you know they'll have computers at school, you can chat online with them and email them and talk on the phone with them http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif and the 4 hour drive really isnt that bad, at least this friend is close enough so that you can drive to see him/her.
Iīm sure youīll find a way to keep in touch! :)Most of my friends donīt live in my town and one of my best friends lives 700kms away. But we chat like every day by messenger and even play Tomb Raider at the same time! You should try it if your friends play them too. Itīs fun!(even though the sound quality isnīt the best..)
And congrats! Good luck! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif
Oh! I remember when I graduated high school, that was more than 2 years ago now.
Congratz Yours_in_darkness. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif Btw really good friends will always stay in touch with you (I know that from my own experiance ;) )
I'm busy with me exams right now...
If everything go well I hear if im graduated the 16th of june.
But first four more exams to go...
(math went very bad today :( )
Good luck! :D
I'm so sad because all the seniors are leaving! They checked out of the system today, so I won't see them for the remainder of the year. We have five more school days left, and I'm already finished with the tough exams. It'll be a long, boring five days with the hot weather too. :(
Don't worry, all high-school'ers are depressed in some way. Don't feel left out, we can form a depression support group! :D
Good luck. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif
Yeef, today we had a rehearsal of how we walk in and such, and I biffed it - we were supposed to go around the chairs back to our seat but instead I just cut in front of everyone because I hadn't been watching. And yeah, it was in front of my entire class, and people laughed. Umm, maybe it's a good thing that I won't see most of them again after Friday...?
haha! when stuff like that happens to me , i just laugh it off! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
We dont graduate in my school. in England. Instead , we just sort of...leave. Atm, im on study leave, so i only go to school to sit my exams, and once their all over...i belong to no one!!! rahaha.THE END of compulsory education.
My sister is graduating next week. She'll be the second child out of the house, so I'll be left here for two more years. I'm going to be all alone. :( Do you have any siblings, Y_I_D?
Congrats to both Yours & TRChik.
Yours...you'll be fine. With all you've been through, you are light years ahead of all your classmates in maturity, poise, & common sense.
I hope you can go on to University or Community College. Congrats to you, & hugs.

And yeah, I'm going to go to college. I plan to major in science (I haven't decided on a specific aspect of it yet) and minor in education, so I can teach science, and I've always wanted to be an archaeologist so I'll study that in my spare time. I know it's Indiana Jones-esque, but hey, it'll be fun! I only chose to be a teacher over an archaeologist because of the exceedingly small demand for archaeologists but it would be my dream to do that.
However, I might major in English instead and teach that. I'm not 100% sure yet.
And - *sighs* graduation is tomorrow...I cried all the way to school this morning because today was my last day since graduates don't actually go to school on graduation.
