What a game!
The party is still going on here I watched it in a pub in the city centre. We were even joined by some fans who had travelled Dublin just to watch it in Liverpool.

The cup is being paraded tonight and I'll be out to see it.

Five wins and now we keep it.

Rome 1977
Wembly 1978
Paris 1981

P.S. this makes England the most succesful country in European club football.

No, this only makes your favourite club the winner of that bowl, that's all. I dislike the nationalism of football supporters.
It is a game, nothing more nothing less.
But still: congrats engagree! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Thanks LIVERPOOL,for teaching us courage!
Salutes from the reds of the greek port of peiraius!
Well i am OLYMPIAKOS of PEIRAIUS in greece, and i felt frustrated, when we were disqualified by the reds of liverpool!when we took the lead by 0-1 and then we lost 3-1,i thought what an opportunity have been lost!
But now i am very happy,we disqualified by the best team of europe, and my beloved favorite team[plus AJAX ofcource],of all the time! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif
P.S i love italians as mediteranneans, but liverpool gets my soul!

Hi Nikos,

The game against Olympiakos was certainly the turning point of the campaign.

I had a great time last night watching the cup being paradaded in front of 750 000 people!

I actaully have to visit SBE college in Piraeus in July so I'll be asking you what to see nearer the time.

The nationalism thing is a contentious thing, and so is my overuse of 'thing', in a literary sense. However, football is the biggest religion (yes, religion) in the UK. We'd trade in our wifes and girlfriends if it meant we could win more than the other countries. Sad, but true. Only Italy can claim to be more obsessed than us. At least we can't lay claim to lobbing scooters onto the pitch when we're losing.

"The game against Olympiakos was certainly the turning point of the campaign" !

Exactly!if we hold the score of qualification, then some other team, will get the trophy,it will be very hard for a greek team, even with RIVALDO,JIOVANNI,SURER,JORTJEVITS,to get the cup!
So our pathetic reaction in the second half, was something like, a sign from the god of football!lol!
Your trioumph relief our pain, because fanilly some "experts" there, before the game with liverpool, they said!''liverpool is the only team which olympiakos can disqualify"!lool!

We are also celebrating here, we got "double",in three days!greek championship[8 OUT OF 9 last years, not bad at all, and 33 total] and cup[21 totally 11 doubles]!well very red year ha! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

Many things!first if you are a college student you should visit AKROPOLIS!the ancient city of athens!its very near using metro from peiraius!
you can go by your self easily!
Well modern athens have no more other special places to visit[only some good night life if you like this kind of joy], but dont worry!
After akropolis, just in your feet are 6 amazing islands you can visit daily!
AIGINA,AGISTRI http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif [highly recommended,a small quite paradise],METHANA,POROS[also a paradise, but with night life],the historic HYDRA and luxury and extremely beautiful SPETSES!very expensive life though, and the farest island of all!

P.S when the time of your visit is near, send me a message,to give you a small guide,to avoid some financial "traps",greece is cheap when you know some hints!ok? ;)
Also i think the greek girls here can give you better advices because they are nearest to your age!i am a little older,so i like more peacefull life! ;)
