Well, we might be getting bought out but that might be for the better. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif Our boss wouldn't be part of the deal so he'd be out of there. He hasn't been doing a good job, to keep this short. ;)

As awful as this is, at my work you are promoted not on your abilities and your talent but rather on the amount of head you give. Not always literally. Exscuse me if I refuse to conform to that lifestyle.

At least I have discovered the kind of boss I myself want to be.

Where along the way do our administrators go wrong? I can't picture them as having always been like this.

Or maybe just not caring anymore. I work a dirty lifestyle. Very little sleep, bad money, shockingly long and illegal hours. Dealing with the ignorant public.

I think my boss has had enough and just doesnt care anymore. Has lost the spark for it. If i was doing this in 20 years I would be bitter and twisted too.

That's a fair point. It would be idle to dismiss how power affects an individual. I've been involved in business in the past and have seen stoical characters chiselled beyond recognition. A true leader will weather the burden of success, and it is a burden, whether it be fruitful or not.

Sometimes the simple life is just more appealing.

I dont ask for more money, better hours, more responsiblity or for more time off. In fact I work the most amount of hours and the worst possible hours for the least amount of money and I'm considered one of the most valuable and strongest employees.

All I ask for is respect. I cant help but hate the world when I am refused it.
