After Playing all 5 Tomb Raider Games on Play Station and completing all I feel I must share these thoughts with all Playaz out there and any Administrators from Core who might be looking in.....
I was first introduced to Tomb Raider with Tomb Raider 3, Christmas 1998...A fantastic Game it took me 3 months to complete...due to the lack of save Game Cristals and not using cheat codes or help...The only flaw in the Game I feel was the small amount of save Game Crystals during the game play...I must have played over some parts of the game 50 times or more ..which is really frustrating and I dont think I could handle that again.
But all in all the storey line was great (Deep) Area 51...Free masons...Dinosaurs...and all cutting edge stuff...Tomb Raider 3 got me well and truley Hooked....I have no Idea how I found the combination to the entrance to the Lost City of Linos in Antarctica...I was driven by some kind of instinkt and got it first time...I really felt that I was in that game....playing it mostly late at night with all the lights off....
I have since played all other Tomb Raiders inclueding the latest Chronicles..in the following order: Last Revelation,TR2,TR1,Chronicles.
I liked TR1 & TR2 good storey lines again.Were those fire creatures Aliens in TR1 . I found Last Revelation to be a bit monotonous after about 30 levels of Egypt...Although I totally am into the concept of ancient Egyptian Technology and such mysteries that were portrayed in the Game. I felt they could have sent Lara to a few other destinations to break it up a bit ..example Peru..Mexico..or..Easter Islands ..Bemuda even....who knows maybe things to come.
I wish they had put as much into Chronicles as..in Last Revelation....I felt that just 12 levels was a bit too short and not a good follow up even though Lara is Suppose to be dead...we could have at least had a greater adventure commemorating her ..oh well cant have everything I suppose Il just have to waite for the Movie and the next generation .
One last thought for any one out there who has the same like mindedness as myself.
Wouldnt it be Great to send Lara Croft Off World...."TOMB RAIDER ON MARS"..exploring the Cydonia region ..with a massive NASA coverup and some Big Masonic High up People holding back from us the true secrets of the Ancient Martian Civilization.....Lara does it again ..blows the lid....he he he...come you people out there with level editors lets see what you can come up with.....Ive got ideas but I dont know how to make a game Im just a player.
