It was so awesome, and so original. I saw it yesterday and I am so mad that it did bad at the box office. People need to stop going to the same old things and faces. This movie has a wonderful and fairly new cast and the characterization is amazing. It is so much better than Micheal Bay's other work.

The story tackles so many aspects of our world that it is scary. The action is intense and the people make you care. The characters are so innocent and loving and the actors portrayed that perfectly.

Take a break from the Chocolate Factory and Fantastic Four and go see this one! It needs it alot more than the others do, plus, it deserves it!

I saw War of the Worlds. It's one of the best films I've ever seen, if not the best. The acting was fantastic, so was the plot. It kept me on edge the whole time, especially that scene in the basement with the tentacle! The thought of it happening to you I think is what makes it so terrifying.

10/10 although the ending was rushed.

I would like to see the fantastic four aswell.

The last film I saw was Mr. and Mrs. Smith. My next film will be Sin City.

The last film I saw at the cinema was The Amityville Horror back in April. I'll probably go see The Wedding Crasher since I am a big Owen Wilson fan. I am also waiting to see Viggo Mortensen's new movie (A History Of Violence) in September, although I am unsure if I will be able to get in due to the age rating :(

The last movie I have seen was Spiderman 2. I don't go to the Cinema that much.

Sin City. Totally my kind of movie http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

The last film I watched was War of the Worlds, my sister sort of dragged me to the cinema when I visited her. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Very well done in terms of effects, you can't argue that, except one detail I think it was unrealistic. I can discuss with who watched it, so not to spoil it for others.

There's also some unecessary sadism. It's a kind of movie that doesn't warm me much anymore, I guess. It's a repetitive trend now to put the viewer in the lucky survivor role from the most unlikely tragedy where most humans die the most horrid deaths. It's not a role I can see myself in very well.

That poster for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is so deliciously retro! So did anyone here watched that one yet? Does the chocolate river look like chocolate on this version? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

'War of the Worlds', excellent movie.

War of the Worlds here, too. I'ma big fan of the book and i was honestly worried about what crazy changes they were going to come up with. i was pleased to see that they stayed a lot closer than i thought. the VFX were intense, some of that stuff looked flippin real. and dakota fannig! how can someone so young be such a great actor?

The last movie that I saw was Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Fantastic 4. Fantastic 4 was alright, but it felt really short to me... it kinda left me hanging. I went to the premiere of Bewitched but about 15 minutes into it I got bored and decided to go off-roading with some friends.(we almost got caught too!! )
