In the hands of some people, cellphones don't last long... because a next one is always nicer! :D
I have an extremely simple one (also Nokia), i use it only for phoning. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

I think the best phones are the ones one didn't have to pay for... I have 5 phones and only bought 1. :D

Nice phone, by the way. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

That looks like a pretty nifty phone, for those looking for a camera phone, that is. Congrats, tlr! :D

I don't want a camera phone though, which is why I got my LG5400 - it's a flip phone (which I like), it's small, has an internal antenna... the other great things about it are listed here: http://www.comparecellular.com/compare_phones_details.asp?PhoneID=349&c=17

The only things I don't like about it is the short battery (according to the site it says 3 hrs talk time, 7.5 days standby which I think is pretty accurate), and the fact that the battery meter sometimes goes up a few notches after going down a few notces... hard to tell where it's actually at sometimes (I've noticed it on occasion... confuses the heck out of me).

Then sometimes the caller can't hear me very well... and I can't adjust my speaker volume (only the earpiece vol. is adjustable). And it can be hard to flip it open. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif Otherwise it's great!

I don't know what's up with the bad reviews from the link I posted... other than what I've said above, the phone is just fine. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Yes, a phone that flips looks attractive to me... it is much more handy because you never need to disable the keyboard then.
Short battery charge is VERY annoying. That's why i don't want a colour display and too much functions.
Or, better technique. They HAVE to invent better batteries (lightcells?). ;) http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

Yeah. But I'm not sure I like it better than my old one. :(

I still use my old Nokia 3330, I have had it nearly 5 years, no problems, phones out, phones in, sends normal texts, only had to buy one replacement battery for 5, what else do you need? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/privateeye.gif

Nice phone. ;)

I've got my phone apart in front of me on my desk, I'm trying to combine it with another old phone of a similar model to get it to work again. Two ancient Philips bricks.

I just replaced my phone on insurance and they gave me a Sony Ericsson T630

I must admit I am pretty please with it. Bluetooth, Outlook sync, camera etc.

Hi Nicky,
Yes I noticed that. I was originally thinking of getting a flip or slide phone, but the T630 is a real neat phone with all the goodies.

But I do like the phone, and apparently there are extra-long batteries (though I don't know how much longer it would last, or how much it costs). I think I might get a new battery, if it sounds worth it that is.
