Wondering why you get a headache when eating ice-cream?

When you eat ice cream, or any hard frozen dessert for that matter, you
may get a very painful headache. This is caused by blood vessel spasms
which are triggered by the intense cold from the ice cream. The
resulting headache is much the same as a migraine - the spasms interrupt the
blood flow and cause the vessels to swell. To avoid this, just eat your
ice cream slower.

So now you know! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

This also happens when slurping slushies. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/silent.gif I had a Slush from Sonic (Drive-In) and man!.... Every time. It was like "AAAARGGH!" And I'd have to press my hands onto my eyes. Then (like a lab animal that keeps biting the electrified peice of food :D ) I'd go back for more. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/clown.gif
