Did You Know?

The word 'cake' comes from the Old Norse 'kaka'. Not exactly the sort
of word you would expect the Vikings to contribute to the English
language.

In 1976 the popular food colouring, Red Dye No. 2, was banned by the
FDA because studies had shown it might cause cancer. Red M&Ms disappeared
for 11 years because of the ban.

In America February is ‘National Return Shopping Carts to the
Supermarket’ Month.
