I think that every bond need at least a movie to adapt cuz people a used to the old one (always). but I think that he will do a great Bond.

I still think he's good looking. But to me there is only 1 James Bond, and that is Sean Connery. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

that's true but you wouldn't think of putting sean connery now?!? well anywho I hear that the next movie "Casino Royal" will start (007 timeline) before "Dr.No" cuz it was the first script ever made but didn't got to the screens so don't you think its kinda stupid that they'll go back?

That does not look right. He is the wrong choice. He lacks the charm, sophistication and slick looks of Bond.

I agree. He looks like a great Tomb Raider but he is not James Bond. Never!

Sounds good to me. Now I want to see him in action. I don't like Sean Connery as J.B. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

Yeah...he looks a bit UNJAMESBOND,but we gotta give him a chance. They've picked him for a reason. Now let's just wait and see what the reason was. lol http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/vlol.gif

Well, I think that the right person to be James Bond was the one from GoldenEye...but I guess he's getting too old.

Not too convinced yet....

Looks more like Alec Trevelyan than James Bond...

He did just fine as Alan Quartermaine

I'll quote what I said in TES' thread about Craig being the new Bond:

IMO, actor's job is to play various roles. We may have used to him playing a specific kind of character, but he is an actor, so he can show many things. As for the color of his hair, I can't see where's the problem. This can be fixed (if James Bond has to be brunet no matter what).
My reply to this thread:

Oh, he didn't change his hair. James Bond is now blond, ladies and gentlemen!!!!

Ok, he doesn't look that bad...

Hmmm, I take back what I said in the other thread http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/privateeye.gif He looks quite interesting in the Bond outfit & style. He seems to have something relating to classic Hollywood actors (when I first saw him, he reminded me of a young Kirk Douglas).

And he has nice eyes too http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

He's blond can't get over it. James bond should be tall dark and handsome, not blond. Also i would like to say that Sean Connery was the best bond ever.

Hehe... somehow I don't remember Bond being blond which already makes him a bit more distinctive in his own way starring as Bond, James Bond. Phew at least it's not a xXx start Vin Diesel, imagine that, huh! :D Well while not taking account about his hair colour (blond, which maybe could be even better perhaps...), he seems to be a fine Bond judging from pics. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I think he looks fine, and I can't wait to see how he does in Casino Royale (2006)

Craig is very different from Pierce Brosnan but that's the whole point. The makers are taking the series back to a more a serious type of spy film.

I'm keeping an open mind for this one! Atleast he can't be as bad as Timothy Daulton and the one whose name nobody can remember- George Lazenby was it?
I wonder who his bond girl will be!!

Alex...ooops sorry Daniel has a tough, rugged presence, hence his past roles.

He could bring those elements to the character he portrays but Ian Fleming always described James Bond as a suave, sophisticated gentleman spy.

I hope these qualities are not too much of a challenge for Dan. I really hope that he is successful in this role. I really hope he isn't the next George Lazenby
