Norah Jones's new cd. I bought it today and it's great! :D Lives up to Norah's standards. Definitely a different style from her first one, but that was expected. ;)

Thank you for the review Celli. I can't wait to hear it. It's so refreshing to listen to someone who has real talent and presence instead of fake fluff. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I'm intending to go out and buy it as soon as I can afford it; I've downloaded most of her first album from Kazaa, and I can't wait to get this one. She's one of the artists of her kind that I really enjoy listening to.
I saw an advert on TV for it and immediately leapt at that unmistakeable voice, then realised I only had enough in my pocket for a coffee, and sat back down http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Sunrise
Sunrise
Looks like morning in your eyes
But the clocks held 9:15 for hours

Sunrise
Sunrise
Couldn't tempt us if it tried
Cuz the afternoon's already come and gone

And I said
Oooo, Oooo, Oooo
To you

Surprise
Surprise
Couldn't find it in your eyes
But I'm sure its written all over my face

Surprise
Surprise
Never something I could hide
When I see we made it through another day

Then I say
Oooo, Oooo, Oooo
To you

And now the night
Will throw its cover down on me again
And if I'm right
It's the only way to bring me back

Oooo, Oooo, Oooo
To you

I want to buy her first CD and this one, since I really admire her style of music, its so refreshing nowadays. But I haven't had the chance or I always forget or I don't have enough money. :(

Thanks for the tip Celli, Ill pop out and get it today. I love Norah, her first album was beautiful and inspiring. How does this CD taste? Im curious as to how it scrubs up in comparison to her first.

It's kind of strange really. lol There's the flair that was in her first album, but this one has a mix of jazz and country in it. But it does it in a way where you don't even notice until later. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
