Oh, sure, tlr! I am all up for hooking up my car to a battery charger 5 separate times in order for the dang thing to move, sure!! 1-leave the house, 2-drop off the kids at Grandmas, 3-leave the restaurant, 4-leave the movie theatre, and once again, 5-pick up kids again. Sounds like work, not fun!!!

You see, our car is very electronic, apparently, and gets all whiny about starting in -5 degree temps. I am about to drop kick the pathetic thing. If it weren't for that small matter, I would love to go out tonight!!

Hi Nat! What's up? What is Hamilton? It's a four-episode series which explore the subject of russain nuclear weapons being smuggled through sweden. Swedish Intellegence team up with the local police of a small town up north who's investigating a linked murder.

Originally, it was a film, but it stunk and didn't get all that great ratings, so they took the material they had and doubled the running-time - thus making it four hours long. Then they cut in four and voila - Hamilton "the series". It's awesome!!

I especially like the bit where Carl Hamilton (Peter Stormare) is in his house, target-practicing in the hall - waking up his girlfriend (Lena Olin) - and she walks right into the area where he's pointing the gun, Carl asks "what she's doing" and she simply replied the same question back to him... :D LOVE that scene!! lol

It's based on two books by Jan Guillou (sp? honestly can't remember how he spells it) who also wrote the book Evil - which was made into a film and is up for an Oscar this year. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

The scene part has got me  tho. Dont get it. Lena Olin---Sidney's mom! This what she's been doing instead of Alias?

guess you have to see it to understand it...
The point of the scene is how different they are. Carl spends the odd hours of the night sharp shooting with his gun in one of the corridors of their house. She wakes up, and not knowing that he's using the hall as a practice-are - she steps out into the middle of it and nearly gets shot! Carl asks her "What are you doing?" as if she's the crazy one of the two...
It's a real funny scene, but I can't explain it any better than that.

Lena Olin---Sidney's mom! This what she's been doing instead of Alias? No, no, no!! This was way before Alias! Back in '98 or sumtin'. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
Lena quit Alias because she wanted to spent time with her family (they live in New York - Alias is shot in LA). She has a pretty little one as well as two older kids. Similar situation to yours. ;)

Oh, And Sydney is spelled with a Y... ;) http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif
