well I gues I'm sort of celebrating christmas :X in the sense that I'll spend with my family, butthe only difference are the presents. I don't do any decorating, I'm the youngest around here and I don't mind so we don't bother decorating. It's weird but the main thing about christmas is spending time with your family, isn't it? and I don't get barbie dolls anymore so to me now the main thing about christmas is family lol

BTW: I will celebrate X-mas and the new year. Eru means he will not be celebrating Christmas. The proper name for chritmas is Christ Mass, Christ was supposedly jesus's surname, but i'm not too sure what the mass is for.
I must say i'm with paperdoll on christmas being about being with your family. Im not at all religious but i like spendmg time with the family and the exchanging of gifts and such. We dont actually pray or anything at Christmas really. I once suggested to my mum that we call it winterfest instead but that was apparently too "complicated".

About the gifts :X give me cash lol or chocolates, because people have the habit of offering to teenage girls or a bit older, things to their future home (I don't know if I'm explaining it properly) such as towels, sheets, dishes, etc. :X I just can't stand that, I'd rather have the cash or nothing at all lol. But still I get to spend time with my cousins, talk about nothing, laugh like crazy, etc. The gifts only end up being a headache: "oh I haven't bought her anything yet and I don't know what I should get" etc etc.

Um, Christ is not Jesus' surname. Christ is what he was supposed to be, The Christ, meaning the anointed. Mass, in this sense is a christian ceremony celbrating the Eucharist (basically the body and blood of Christ symbolised, or even literalised by consecrated bread and wine, and the consecration of said bread and wine). But most specifically, Christ Mass is the christian religious ceremony that celebrates the birth of Christ, where originally, you or anyone who was christian would have attended Mass at church.
