The latest from the P.C brigade is that you can't do a panto of Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs. Instead, you must change all references of dwarf to gnome and re-name the panto Snow White.

It's to stop short people getting offended, apparantly. Oh, and Bashful has become Basher to stop shy people getting offended.

One real-life dwarf told a newspaper today...

"I have no problem being called a dwarf, and I don't know anyone who does".

Chnage the name to a street thug name to stop people being offended. Right.

You know years ago I once saw in my local newspaper a report of a local pantomime of Snow White, except that instead of a "w" in "White", they had printed it with an "s". Better watch those typos in future! What genius had to put the s so close to the w on a qwerty keyboard?

Still my mother told me that in her days as a secretary someone in her office had printed a letter to a Mr Angus and had mistakenly missed out the "g"

http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/vlol.gif http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/vlol.gif it's worse when someones name is actually spelt a way that could cause offense if looked at the wrongly. i had a seargent major who's last name was a certain part of a mans anatomy. it was all i could do not to laugh on parades.

At nursery we are not supposed to sing "bah bah black sheep" anymore  .

But on official forms they still have the nerve to make me tick the box "white" when asked for my ethnic origin.

I read that today as well, how http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/censored.gif stupid, some people have not got anything better to do than sit behind a desk, and make stupid rules up, just to feel important.

My message to all these political correct nerds is get a http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/censored.gif life!

lmao http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/vlol.gif It's getting way too out of hand these days... I can understand there being some rules concerning actual important issues such as racial abuse etc but when it comes down to changing fairytales to suit people of a shorter height there's obviously something wrong... Yuh-oh! It just came to me...what happens if they get around to the BFG?! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yikes.gif http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/whistle.gif

On Topic: Here in my country you have to watch out on the words you say, which is stupid, but they let obcene language grow bigger and bigger on TV. How Ironic.

Remember (this was a long time ago) when the Flintstones could have 'a gay old time' and no-one thought Fred and Barney were an item.
Noddy was banned in Austrlia because the golliwog
may offend black people.
These days it's a wonder you can have 'fairy tales' without upsetting the gays.
Are people thinner skinned these days or just need newer things to complain about?
As T.Onyx says, what about obscene launguage on TV, as well as nudity and sex. Double standards.

This is really getting out of hand! can't they come up with something a little more creative like...oh i dunno...sodding off and leave things as they are! just coz it aint politically correnct does'nt mean you have to change it, next they'll try change change the whole concept of our beloved Tomb Raider as it's another form of grave robbing...or at least something stupid like that!
