novice raider-finally made it to last level!

Am now at Great pyramid level 15-this is a doozy-and I,ve still got a ways to go. Have defeated the huge legless mutant, survived boulder traps, swinging blade, and have just walked thru the spikes, all this while the earthquake is going on and everything is shaking and rumbling. Have to take a break-"seasick" So far the toughest things have been: fire pillars, centauer statue that hurls fireballs in level 8, timed bridge in level 14, and humongous mutant at start of level 15. Are the next games as good as this one?

Congratulations on your success. The first game I started on was TR3 then tried some of TR4 then jumped to TR1. I actually thoought the enemies in TR1 were hard to kill, like the mummies. This surprised me because I assumed the first game would be kind of easy. For coming out in 1996, I think the environments are still very good.

To answer your question, the rest of the games are great! You even have dinosaurs to look forward to. :D

Congrats! God yes, the other games are fantastic! the mob after ya because they want the same artefact you want, huge massive dragons, statues that come to life, fly an areplane then crash! Beautiful Ice caves, people on snowmobils trying to shoot you down!

Wow! next games sound great. Dinos? I do remember one from the demo of TR2 that got me into TR series.Did manage to kill it without too much dying. Those mummies that surprise you in TR1 are much worse to deal with, I think. Well, off I go to some more of level 15-talk to ya later :D :D

Yep, you're in for some fun cloudclimber. Don't forget Unfinished Business, the extra levels for the original Tomb Raider available for PC. They're great!

Hey everyone-just had to tell ya-finished Level 15 of TR1! The Natla monster at the end was surprisingly easy to defeat, as i had plenty of uzi clips and used 2 large health kits. Next project-go back to level 8 to try to get thru the fire pillars, will try suggestions in this forum.

I've only ever heard that before on Groundhog Day, where Bill Murray puts his foot in a deep puddle and the geeky insurance salesman laughs and says "Haha. Watch out for that first step! It's a doozy!!"

Anyway, TR1 is only the 4th best TR game of the 5, so you've still got a lot of enjoyable game playing to be had yet. Keep going.
