Henhead

Last night I was woken by my cat growling, at first I thought he had caught a mouse or something.

I turned on the light and saw a grey striped cat in my bedroom (which had got in though my lower open window).

When I turned on the light above my bed, this must have started the cats as they then launched into each other http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yikes.gif

I got out of bed and the intruder cat hotly chased by my cat (as big and brave as he could be) tried to escape by the way it came in, but the curtain was closed, so it fell back onto my floor so I opened the curtain and guided it gently (pushed not kicked) it back towards the open window before it went further into my house.

My cat then guarded the open window and stayed there, well he was still there when I got up.

Cats, especially if they are not neutered or spayed, tend to be very territorial, so your cat was just defending it's turf. Perhaps the other cat was feeling amorous?

I hope your cat has all its vaccinations

Tomcats like that usually carry diseases

Also, I hope your cat was either a male or a spayed female becuase if its an unspayed female, you might become daddy http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

haha tlr, i wish mine was that bold too!
But she's a lady cat and gets all *****y when any other cats come near anyway. She'll never make any friends  .
Although she runs away from the cat toys we buy her. Silly cat. Not that brave afterall.

My cat is male and had the chop, so the chance anything happing are rather slim http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

I canít see any battle scars, think it was more one-sided from what I saw (not bad for a 15 year old!), the other cat could not get out quick enough!

Here he is proud as ever, just taken it...

ok then

just watch for anything unusual, as stray cats are known to carry nasties

LOL! Mine has a habit of walking across my keyboard while I'm trying to type. She'll gingerly tap any old key first to see if it's stable, then just trot right across and mess up whatever I was working on. :D

Lol henhead and tlr online http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif tlr, is that Scotland? Looks beautiful :D

OMG Henhead, your cat is POSSESSED!!! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yikes.gif Lol :D

We occasionaly get a rogue feline indoors - all of ours are spayed/neutered - usually because they can sneak some free food. The others don't like them, but haven't ever gotten into a real dirty fight (that we know about http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/mischievous.gif ).

The most notorious visitor we call Plumpton-the-wonder-boot-exploder (don't ask  ). He's a sly tabby with a taste for catnip *is there a cat that doesn't???!!!*

Once, he came round in the daytime and I was giving him some fuss on our garden. He got so high on catnip (we HAD some growing at the time) he didn't notice when one of ours walk up and smack him on the nose! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/vlol.gif

A small fenced in backyard that is: no easy and quick way to escape from!
When I called for him late that night (around 11 pm) he came walking in looking very frightened. He stayed scared to death all night long and wouldn't talk to me untill the following day around 5 pm!
Poor thing. :( And I had no idea what had happened to him. Untill my neighbour told me about the attack.

But he's alright now! Talking to me, sleeping on the chair next to my desk as if nothing has happened :D

this is my cat, felix. (i know, very unoriginal name)
he is a boy cat and he's about two years old, he likes to do backflips and eat moths like all cats do.

all of the cat pictures are beautiful.

i prefer cats to dogs cause dogs are okay as puppies but the the grow up and they STINK.

my cat is like a jekyll and hyde...
she seems like a nice kind of sitting on your lap, purring, sweetie...
and then BAM! she goes out and bullies all the other cats... shes such a *****.

you'd think she would have loadsa battle scars but she only has a bit of a fight chewed ear. (if you think thats bad you should see the cat who chewed it. poor creature...) still, she had to get revenge.
cant go soft now...

Awwwwwwwwwwww............ What a beautiful cat you have Henhead!!!! And you melikelara!!!!

A cat tried to enter my house, but he managed to come only until the balcony. And I say "he" because I guessed it, as my cat is a "she". I heard my cat growling, and when I went to check, I saw them looking each other without moving at all. My cat was from inside the balcony door and the other cat outside. I only closed the door and the curtain, got my cat away from the door and allowed the other cat to leave (probably with the same way he came, and I still wondering how he did it).
