TR3 India-Temple Ruins

Please help! I have the walk through, but I can't get out of the room that has the statue
with 6 arms with swords (the walk through says 8 arms/swords) the place for the hole is there, but it isn't open.(3rd paragraph)
All comments and instructions are very welcome.

Ok this is going to sound like a dumb question but I have to ask it. There are two switches in this room, have you pulled them yet?
