Can there be a section where you can delete your Post you made.

Sometimes people dont answer the posts i make or sometimes when i posted in the wrong place, i Edit the message leaving a blank witch looks like the person is just Spamming.

Allot of other Forum Boards has this option and it will help a little for the Forum Board to get crowded.

I think not. Only Forum Leaders (Administrators / Moderators) can delete posts. You can only edit them.

Admins and Mods can indeed delete posts, but they don't do it unless it's absolutely necessary, because it affects the board software, making it unstable sometimes. So deleting topics & posts is highly avoided and done only in specific cases http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Don't worry about past posts; old threads die a natural death anyway as time goes by, so there's no need to edit your old posts (although you surely can do it if you really want to).

As for posting in the wrong section, the admins & mods always move the respective topics in the appropriate section as soon as they spot them.

I went to Search, then i went through every single Post i made on the TRFB. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/privateeye.gif

I Edited only those where i made double posts or unnecessary posts, witch are now blanks. ;)

Can i put the Links here to the Posts i went (120) so that the Moderater can Delete the blanks i made.

I know it will reduce my Post Count, but i dont mind. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I don't think a mod will want to delete your posts Daventry unless it's an emergency.

Daventry, no posts will be deleted, especially when they are so old and the threads are dead. It simply isn't necessary.

We only delete posts when absolutely necessary. So don't worry about it. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

After a special request...

Can there be a section where you can delete your Post you made.

Allot of other Forum Boards has this option and it will help a little for the Forum Board to get crowded. You cannot delete your post. As Net said, it messes up the forum. TRF has meny members and we prefer to keep the things tidy.

But there are allot i want to Edit witch will be blank, can i click on Report Post and then the (Administrators / Moderators) can delete the post
The "Report Post" icon is an alert. If a member sees another member posting things that are against our T&C, he can report the post and the mods will get an alert. This icon is not about deleting posts.

Can i put the Links here to the Posts i went (120) so that the Moderater can Delete the blanks i made. This is not necessary.

How much memory does this forum take up anyway? I have no idea :D

Also, please do not go back editing your posts, because it messes up the search feature. I will disable the option to edit if this happens.

LOL! I mean, it's OK to edit your posts, but regarding Daventry's question. Please don't go back and edit ALL your posts.

It will seriously mess up the search indexing for the forum.
