View Full Version : OMG! This is getting serious and something should be done!
Ive just heard that 4 people in my area have been diagnosed woth Leaukemia!
Theres reason to beleave it was caused by paylons in the area that have been emitting radiation that might have caused the devistation
It said in a news report the last year that there is an 80% chance of Leaukimia in a 1/2 mile radius!
IM in that radius!
Oh my. MOVE! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
Either that, or get som fashionable lead clothes.
Immediately have a check-up at your local hospital. They'll run some tests and you'll know for sure. Sorry to hear such sad news. :(
2 FunkyBlueTiger: It's no fun to make jokes of something so serious ...
That's terrible. Go get a check-up as soon as possible. Apparently medicine for Leuakimia is rather advanced but it's still possible to die.
I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to joke....
Forgive me http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif
Its OK! :D
But the pylons are gonna be taken down, a lot of people protested and action will be taken!
JUSTICE SERVED! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif
As it turns out, I investigated and Im actually a few metres outside the radius, but that doent make a difference, Ill have to get a doctors appointment this week! :(
hope your ok.
good luck and all that.
If I were you I'd go to the doctor just to be sure... Hope everything goes okay. :(
Oh No! u poor thing :( i'm sure you will be fine though ;) howeva like some others have said have a check-up with your doctor. but i'm sure you will be OK http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif GOOD LUCK!!!

Oh... :( I'm so sorry. I hope you will be OK. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif
Your pylons emit radiation? How big are they, and how many people live in your area? Newscasters can alter statistical information by exaggerating the wording for percentages. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif Perhaps those four people had a history of leukemia. An 80% chance of leukemia within a 1/2 mile radius is completely unsafe, and I doubt that the rate is that high. In this case I think they're lying... unless those statistics were published by government officials. Hopefully it's all media hogwash used to perpetuate fear and interest. But it's good that you're going to the doctors just to be sure. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif Hope everything's a-OK.
Thank you so much for caring?
Bless you all
I got an appointment tomorrrow for 9:00am! When I get back Ill tell ya, He wont test me, he'll just check for symptoms and give me some advice!
The pylons are going be taken down as the complaints are heavy and the council are taking them down http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/c-2.gif
Ive found out 1 of the people was a child aged 9
:( But The Pylons are massive and the pylon closest to me is the very beginning/end one as it is cordonned off and has a lot of electricity boxes.
But they are being taken down now, the power for them have been cut off, they might move it somewhere far, far away! but its a relief
The local council warned us to avoid being outside as much as possible for the next 3 days until completely removed!
Things are looking good!
Glad to hear everythings OK.... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif
excellent !!!!!! ( takin down i mean )

hope everythings ok ;)
