PLEASE PER-LEEZE can we have your work larger than 1024x768. Most of us hardcore web users view 1280x1024 plus. Stretching your wallpaper is a travesty!

Thank you. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/clown.gif

And maybe a voice program so you can turn it on by saying: Onscreen

And to use Start: Engage

Is this a personal request or a forum rule tlr?
I can only issue certain sizes depending on the content/quality of the work.

i'd suggest if your serious about running at larger resolutions you have 1 CRT and 1 TFT monitor rather than 2... this is also a good idea for your eyes as well because TFT technology is still pretty bad so you can only use it for so long before it causes eye strain. This is mostly due to the way it is being polarised on the screen at given refresh rates.

my current setup here is a QuadroFX 3000G with 2x 18" TFT for additional screens + a 21" CRT for main desktop veiwing... as my main monitor can refresh at 120Hz even at 1600x1200 means it's much better than my TFTs that are only capable of 1280x1024 and that's at 60Hz.
plus the colour quality is different so you have to take this into account; and the power consumption is alot less on CRT. [trust me you'll REALLY notice your electrical bill jump using a TFT let alone a Plasma]

would be nice if wallpaper makers make the 3 general desktop sizes though
1280x1024 | 1024x768 | 800x600

Yes Draco, you can. But most of the designers use beautiful colors or graphics and they end up blurred. I personally, apart from the "Sharp" option, don't know another way to make a blurred pic to look better. And the result has nothing to do with the original :D

I would always rather shrink an image than enlarge it...

I was talking about shrinking an image, not enlarging it.

Draco

Oh, I spose shrinking an image to say...48x48 would be a little much, especially if it was originally 1600x1200... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

But desktop sizes it isnt a huge difference other than how much you can see...

Sides, there are programs out that shrink without the blockieness...and all that...

But yes the original is the best... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

ELEN

No no... I was not talking about an avatar size :D Anyway, I tried once and the original remained... original!!!

Well usually the original stays original unless you tell the program to overwrite it... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
