PlayStation Portable prototype finished

Sony are reported to have completed the first working PSP

Unconfirmed reports from Japan today suggest that Sony have completed the prototype of their PSP, their handheld games machine that's due to be released at the end of the year.

While the length of time the rechargeable battery would last had been an early concern, we've heard that the battery in the prototype can last for up to 10 hours and that the finished version of the machine will boast an even longer battery life.

The PSP is due to go on show for the first time at May's E3 games show, prior to its scheduled release date of December. We're expecting more PSP news to leak out of Japan in the near future.

E3 has been moved back to May?
Considering i'm going would love to know why it has been pushed back from the date that it's been held on since it began a decade ago o_O

that aside... it was kinda obvious they'd have the protoype finished by E3; considering it is the largest event in the games industries books.
out weighing ECTS and GDC put together.

the Nintendo DS and Dolphin2 are being unveiled as well; personally i'm looking forward to the new Gameboy "3G" cause it is directly aimed at whooopin' the PSP's ass.
