View Full Version : Christmas day??

I had a wonderful christmas day, which i would like to recall and as well find out what my new friends (you guys) did as well.

A BEAUTIFUL day, about 20 something degrees, blue skys and little wind. The city was clean and the air fresh yesterday.

It wasnt about the presents, but more about the smiles and laughter we had yesterday. Im 19 so santa doesnt come to me, but my brother is 7 and woke me early to share his joy. After watching his smiles during every present that he opened we exchanged our personal family presents.

With christmas wrapping EVERYWHERE we watched my brother happily play with his new toys. Dinner with family friends was on the cards, so we didnt have a large lunch like we usually do, but relaxed before going to dinner. Phonecalls and SMS's came quick and plenty throughout the day and it was nice to hear from family and friends that we havent heard from for a while.

Dinner with friends was GREAT. firstly i was assigned the task of setting up their NEW playstation 2, which they couldnt play because they had no idea how to plug it in. They had disconnected their cable TV trying and so i had to fix that also. (i didnt laugh or snicker as i took 12 seconds to plug it all in (5 seconds to move the TV), a good deed for the day.)

They (16 year old boy, and twin girls, 12) hadn't played anything like this and their excitement showed it. i explained the 'rules of the game' of playing ps2 as the first time with a ps2 controller is a little confusing. dinner continued to be prepared as we played games and conversed about presents and the day we all had had. Truely Relaxing. A fine dinner and christmas dinner conversation passed, we decided to go for a walk (to walk off the dinner fat we had just consumed, *lol*) we petted the horses that were nearby and watched the kangaroos graze as we relaxed some more.

Back to the house and more ps2 awaited (of course). finishing the day, i was greatly thankful for the day that was and the memories that have been engraved for years to come.

And to all that are less fortunate, i hope that Christmas day at least, provided some relief from the hard life and hope grown a little stronger in your heart. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Well im 16, and still get excited about christmas http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif I woke up at 3am and decided to text my friends, my ex, and my boyfriend a merry christmas. I was shocked when I got replies from most of them straight away, my friends were up to, saying they wanna open their presents! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif So I had a text chat with my friend leesa, then decided to try go back to sleep. I finally fell back to sleep at about 4:30am.

At 7:30 I woke up again, but this time because 2 of my younger sisters came running into my room, waking me and my other sister up to go into the living room to see all the presents! Had a look, and the living room was HEAVING with presents!

Mum and dad came down a few minutes later and made breakfast, and we opened the present from our nan at the breakfast table as we do every year. We got some really nice gold earings from her.

We all went into the living room and opened our presents, our dog was going balistic at the wrapping paper which was soo funny! She was ignoring all of her presents we had unwrapped for her!!

I spent most of the time up until lunch playing my new games on my playstation, along with texting my boyfriend.

We had a lush lunch, the turkey was great, the cracker I pulled with my sister burned my arm! OUCH!

After dinner mum brang down some suprise presents for us all, which none of us were expecting, she never done that before!! That was fun!

We then done karoke! My dad sang elvis, and god he sounds so awful, the neighbours heard!! HOW EMBARRISING!!! http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/redface.gif

Tea was nice, a lovely cold spread, I ate all the pickled onions http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif

Afterwards we realaxed watching the tv, and got our phone call from my pap, nan and one of my many aunts.

Christmas isnt over for us yet!! We kind of have a second christmas on new years at my paps house, presents again, huge party..... Going to be great! :D
