My favorite level is probably the temple runs from tr 3 or the temple of xian from tr 2. I really like traps http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

And why the frown smily at you post??? :D :D

TR1: Caves (yes, you read very well... The first level)... I don't choose a level only because of its difficulty and "cleverness". The atmosphere means a lot to me...

TR2: Wreck of the Maria Doria... Very nice atmposhere, a lot of running (go there, go here, go there again, specially when you play it for the first time), this underwater creature that hops suddenly and you have a heart attack :D

TR3: Aldwych... Ok, we are talking about a really confusing level, you can easily make circles without knowing what to do... You have many places to go and the worst <button puzzle> I have ever seen...

TR4: What can I say about this amazing game?? Everything was perfect. I can hardly choose a level... The Lost Library maybe takes my vote...

TRC: Escape with the Iris... No weapons, a lot of running and a really bad (but challeging) point where you have to collect the second secret (SYS :D )

...a voice from the darkness.....

Okay, my first post in the new year here is about my favourite levels... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif Anyway, it's really hard to say just one exact favourite, isn't it? ;) The levels are very-very various with different kinds of atmospheres: industrial, ancient, modern, city, and so on... Perhaps we could choose our best from this point of view too.

TR1: "City Of Vilcabamba" & "Palace Midas" - Sorry, I can't choose between them! :D
TR2: "Temple Of Xian" - And yes, I love the Maria Doria level too, because of what ELEN mentioned.
TR3: "Lost City Of Tinnos" - For me, this is the best from the whole "Old Gen".
TR4: "The Lost Library" - And perhaps "Desert Railroad" too, because this is a unique level...
TR5: Escape With The Iris - Hmm, can I admit anything more to ELEN's comment?! :D Perhaps this is my 2nd favourite, if I view the whole "Old Gen"...

SYS "Whew! That girl has got one bad attitude."

TR2: Tie between the Temple of Xian and Floating Islands, although the Monestary was a blast, a shotgun blast, for the monks that is... http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Aldwych from TR3. What a unique setting. Core captured the design and atmosphere of London's underground perfectly. They must've done some hefty research.

Funnily enough, the Masonic headquarters is a short walk from the real Aldwych station, although I don't think there's a secret tunnel to it...

My second favourite level would have to be The Opera House from TR2. Another unique setting, and spooky too.
