Not even one game???? That's strange...
Don't worry, AOD is "based" on WinXP... I don't think that we'll have any problem...

Have you tried the patches from www.tombraiderchronicles.com? (http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com?) They usually help... mind you, that's the reason why I'm staying firmly on Win98 until they release a more friendly version of Windows....

ELEN: Don't worry, AOD is "based" on WinXP... I don't think that we'll have any problem...Elen, you have XP, so you will play it for sure :D

But, that XP will be my big problem, since i have Win2000 and WinXP is not stable enough for me as Win2000. Also, I don't have GeForce card, which could be my second problem. :(

I hope than AOD will work even on win98 and 2000 and on all other 3D graphic cards. I just hope http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Smyles has a point, and what better reason now than the superb price of the PS2. After all, games do run very smooth on a console... hehe

...a voice from the darkness.....

Well, it's going to be harder and harder to keep all TRs runable on PC... :D

Anyway, I'm not sure about the "simply buy a PlayStation" solution, unless You're only a gamer and don't one to do anymore on the machine. The "Old Gen" TRs runs better and they are much nicer than the PS-versions. There's a game, called "Star Wars: Starfighter" - as I remember -, which runs sometimes extremly slow on the PS2, as I've heard it from some people. And I've also heard this thing about other games too. Naturally, no problem: they will run faster on a PS3 (like the PC-philosophy)... Well, PS will be like PCs in the near future?! You have to get a new PlayStation in every second or third Year? Ehh... Perhaps not, but almost...

Anyway, I think that PC owners will keep and improve their PCs, and PS owners will do the same (except improving) with their machines... :D

Play Station?? No thanks... I prefer the graphics of my PC :D :D

Bokkie, I have already been prepared for the big event. I have already bought a second Hard Drive to install a "clear" OS just for the game :D And I'm gonna buy GF4 next week... Ahhh... I just want everything to be perfect on February... :D :D

I just bought myself a lovely GeForce4 Ti today. I'm definitely ready for AOD now!

If you do then you can have win98 and xp on the same pc as a dual boot system, so you can play your games on 98 and your dad can still use xp.

the good think about the ps2 compared to the pc is that ps2 cant crash before u get a chance to save your game. the graphics are much better on the pc though. i just hope the game isn't gigantic like the sims cuz my computer is braaaand new and i cant afford to break another one. the last one i had exploded, litterally. no lie. :(
