She looks dreadfully sad and forlorne. (but I love the colors). It's lovely work Rogue.

Very different, but really good. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif Earthly colors to it, makes the red hard to stand out on its own, so at least it's trying to draw attention to her emotions rather than to what she is wearing.

Yes I realise that it is different but I got it because when I saw it I could see how it reflects how I used to feel. There was a time when I felt so alone and practically miserable. In a way it serves the purpose of reminding me that I have a choice in my emotions and that the pain of the past makes it possible to see the goodness in my life today. Without that I would not be able to apprieciate life as I do now. In knowing sadness I can apprieciate the good things so much more so now.

I thik it's great! She looks so tragic, but the artist has done a remarkable job. It's not a bad idea to have a marker, to show how far you've come. It gives you something to be thankful for...

Webhed! Your here http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif

Thank you for your opinion. I've been reconsidering the painting since some people seem to be turned off by it but I remember that the first time I saw it it touched me and for that reason I bought it. I'm a a fool for spending 128$ for it? I hope I'm not, it's not so expensive compared to other paintings that I've wanted.

Thanks again Webhed- btw do I owe you an e-mail?

I like warm colours but cooler ones strike a sense of peace within me. Warm ones seem to represent life and passion for me.
