Ok, I'll share my favorites with you :D

"When you want something, all the Universe conspires in helping you to achieve it".

"There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve- the fear of failure"

Both are taken from my favorite book "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. His book "By The River Piedra I Sat Down And Wept" also have tons of beautiful quotes.....but too many to mention. And while I'm first at it, I would really like to share a passage of his work "The Fifth Mountain" with you:
For those who don't know it, the book is about the prophet Elijah who flees from persecution and takes refuge with a young widow and her son in the town of Akbar. The widow tells Elijah and her son not to cry as she is dying, and this is what she gives for reason:

"From this moment on, my soul will become one with all I have known on this earth: I am the valley, the mountains that surround it, the city, the people walking in its streets. I am its wounded and its beggars, its soldiers, its priests, its merchants, its nobles. I am the ground that they tread, and the well that slakes each one's thirst. Dot weep for me, for there is no reason to be sad. From this moment on, I am Akbar, and the city is beautiful."

Ok here are mine:

"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential things in life, and see if I could not learn what they had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived"
Henry David Thoreau

"Keep your eyes open and guard against every sort of covetousness, because even when a person has an abundance, his life does not result from the things he possesses." Luke 12:15

"If you have enough people sitting around telling you your wonderful, then you start believing your fabulous then someone tells you "you stink!" and you believe that too!" AJ

"Life and death, energy and peace. If I stop today it was still worth it. Even the terrible mistakes that I made and would have unmade if I could. The pains that have burned me and scarred my soul, it was worth it, for having been allowed to walk where I've walked, which was to hell on earth, heaven on earth, back again, into, under, far in between, through it and above." I don't have it on hand right now, but one of my favorite quotes is by Mother Theresa.

I love this quote through from Their Eyes Were Watching God
Ships at a distance have every man's wish onboard. For some they come in with the tide. For others they sail forever on the horizon, never out of sight, never landing until the Watcher turns his eyes away in resignation, his dreams mocked to death by Time. That is the life of men.

'I said it was over. My loved ones were still dead, I was still alive. It wasn't over.'

'When you're looking down the barrel of a gun, time seems to slow down. Your whole life flashes before your eyes.'

'The bullet in her brain came to the end of it's slow motion journey.'

'I don't no about angels, but it's fear that gives men wings.'

'They were all dead. The final gun shot was an exclamation mark to every thing that has lead to this moment. I released my finger from the trigger.. then it was over.'

'The killer was smiling.'

'The snow was coming down like confetti over the devil's parade.'

'At that moment I relised, for the first time, I didn't want to die.'

' I was in a computer game! Time slowing down to show off my moves, the thought of someone controling my every step. Funny as hell, it was the most horrible thing I could think of.'
