Tomb Raider Gold

I downloaded the 3DFX version last night and went to make sure that it works although when I click on the start game on the Glidos screen it says "CD not found, Please insert disc" even though the disc is in my drive.
How do I get it to work?

It's ok I've done some research and found that if i delete the CDCheckFile:data\End2.phd on the configuration settings it works fine. :D
Also had to change the control judder to 100 and add forced texture smoothing although I'm not to sure what they do.

Now I can't get either the TR1 or TR1 Gold to load. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/yikes.gif
It comes up with OS detection failed.

Something happening here,
what it is ain't exactly clear.

One minute it works the next it doesn't. I haven't changed any of the settings except the ones listed above. But sometimes it loads from the DOS screen and sometimes it don't.
