Downloading Unfinished Business

Ok heres some questions
1. How does unfinished business install is it the same as tr or does it use a wizard?
2. Before it installs does the winzip self extracter appear and then go straight into the installation like golden mask does?
3. When its installed how do you get glidos to run it?

Angel, TR1Gold comes with Self-Extracting WinZip archive. The game uses the same configuration file as TR1 (sound and controller settings). You need to unzip the files into C:\TOMBRAID folder. Archive contains executable files as well as additional DATA directory where new levels are stored. TR1 CD is required while playing TR1Gold http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

If you want to play TR1Gold with Glidos, i'm affraid that Glidos is configured for TR1Gold CD only, so we should find solution how to make Glidos run TR1Gold without TR1Gold CD.

Ok if that installation screen comes up its going to get scrambled like the tr installation is there a way of doing it through command prompt?

Ok, remember directory where you extracted the game? Copy TOMBUB.EXE from that folder to C:\TOMBRAID folder. Also, backup HMISET.CFG and SETTINGS.DAT files somewhere and delete both files from C:\TOMBRAID folder.

Now, you need to setup TOMBUB.PIF file. You can download pif file (2 kb only) from here (http://www.ratkovicdesign.net/downloads/patches/tombub.pif) and copy it to C:\TOMBRAID folder. Double click on the PIF file you placed in C:\TOMBRAID folder to start TR1 Gold.

If the game started correctly, then we can talk how to setup sounds and Glidos ;)

If you're trying to play at TRUB via Glidos, this is the default setting to be used in the Glidos.ini file (it should be already there):

If you only have the online version of TRUB and not the TR Gold CD, then simply delete the line called CDCheckFile: data\End2.phd. Updates completed. Download away. There are several versions of Unfinished Business depending on what video card you're sporting. Also, I believe GLIDOS supports Unfinished Business so be sure to check out this essential graphics add-on.
