3DFX problem

Whenever I try to play TR1 now on my newer computer, it always crashes when I exit leaving a black screen. Is this fixable and anything to do with my 3dfx voodoo 3? It used to work fine on my older computer that was much poorer in the system requirements area.

- Which Windows do you have(98/ME/2000/XP)?
- Do you have the latest video drivers?
- Do you use the Glide version of Tomb Raider game?

I am on Windows 98SE and I think I've got the latest drivers.
When I quit it just restarts my computer (but crashes it because the blue scandisk comes on when it restarts).
What is glide?
