Jerky screen!!

When I am on this site the screen goes all jerky.

What I mean is; on the main page where all the forums are listed everything is fine, when I go into a forum scrolling down gets a bit 'sticky'.
If I read a thread then it gets even worse; it takes a couple of seconds for the screen to respond to the mouse.
Writing replys is also slow; I type some words and a couple of seconds later the words appear on the screen.

Is it the site or have I picked up a virus of some sort?? :confused:

What browser are you using?

I've found IE fine but have had problems with Opera before.

I havn't tried Netscape.

I have downloaded AVG and am just about to scan my machine; wish me luck :rolleyes:

AGV has found and eradicated FOUR viruses!!

Still got the problem with the jerky screens though :(
