And increase the volume.
If it still doesn't work, then dbl click on the same icon and check the Wave Sound, etc...

Hmmm...
Do you have some kind of loose contact in your speakers or somethng. Or maybe is your sound card a bit loose???
Or did you connect the speakers in the wrong port?
Anyway, here are my settings, hope they can be of some help.

HORUS-LEGEND, in what application are you having this problem? For instance, Windows Media Player and other media-players have their own volumecontrol, on top of the Windows-volumecontrol and the controls for soundchip.
In the media application, just look for a volumecontrol.
Also, check the control menu of your soundchip, if it has any, like the Creative soundcards have:

Also check the situation on Control Panel / Sounds and Audiodevices / tab "Audio" / press the button "Volume".

Are you speakers powered? You may need to have an external amplifier to create more volume, as your soundcard may not produce enough sound power on its own.

One of the speakers doesn't have a volume knob?

oh I kjnow what that is, no they dont have that
A physical, usually round clockwise/anticlockwise turnable thing on a speaker to turn the volume up or down.
I see you have a ASUS motherboard.
Don't you have a shortcut to the onboard audio control in Start / All Programs?
I have Creative Audigy card. In my All Programs there is a Creative shortcut to the soundmixer.

http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/vlol.gif Joseph!
If all else fails try changing the speaker leads around at the back of the PC tower. I have 3 places to put 2 wires and I can have a few combinations, some of which work better than others. Some give a low volume but only 1 is loud.

Well, there you have SoundMan, it indeed is related to the Realtek soundchip. Doubleclick on it and see what it leads to.
Also, in your picture: RTLCPL must be Realtek Control Panel. That's the one, it must be. Doubleclick on it and see what it leads to.
