i'm also having trouble with tomb raider in win 2000... once, the game started, running from the cd, but the setup doesn't work.... i've tried the wizard and the patch mentioned, but i'd no such luck... it did work when i used Win ME and FAT32 though, with glidos and all.

What exactly happens? You get thrown to the desktop?

yep, the screen flickers once, then i'm back at the desktop...
