I downloaded the lastest version of QuickTime (from the Apple site) but I'm having problems playing and streaming videos. You see I only hear the audio of for example music videos and not the video itself. This also happens when I try the watch QuickTime video's on the internet. Please help. :(

Thank you

Hi Colin http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/wave.gif

Click Start > Programs > Quick Time > Quick Time Updater. Wait a few seconds then click Custom. Check all components in the list and then click Update Now. All missing components will be downloaded and then installed ;)

I did what you said but (still no video) it came up with this error massage: You may experience problems playing a video track in .... because an unknown error occurred. The number of the error is: -8992.

Do you have the latest Quick Time version installed (6.5.1 is the latest)? http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/privateeye.gif

Bokkie, you know there are movie trailers at the Apple.com site right? Well, I just tried to play one of them and I dialog box appeared asking me do I want to install QuickTime installer. I selected yes and now I can watch QuickTime format movies on the net and I can also watch my downloaded videos as well. Problem solved. Thank you Bokkie. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/hug.gif
