Problems with TRC demo

I recently downloaded the TRC Demo and was not allowed to enter due to an illegal operation performed by the program. Under
<<Details>> the following was written:
PCTOMB5 caused an invalid page fault in

morning oll123. can you list your system specifications, including the make and model of your video card. please also confirm you have DirectX 7.0 installled.

I have got DirectX 7.0 but am not sure where to find my video card info. Could you please tell me exactly what you want in the way of Systems specifications?

o/s, ram, processor speed.

Go to DESKTOP, right mouse click on the screen and select PROPERTIES, then go SETTINGS. You video card will be listed here, and clicking on ADVANCED will display more detail of the card in your machine. Don't change any settings, though, just click CANCEL when you've found the info needed.

It still doesn't work, but when I try to turn it on, it just shows a black screen, for about 3 seconds, then returns to the original screen. I don't have DirectX 7.0 as I thought I did, in case it matters. Please reply within the hour.

Chronicles requires DirectX 7.0 to run.
