Can't rest. Pls help.
Problem:
Was playing when the screen minimized. Tried but didn't know how to restore full screen.
Decided to uninstall. Ran the disc. Chose Uninstall. Was informed that uninstallation was "complete". Restarted computer.
Could not select either "play" or "setup" or "uninstall" when I ran disc. Just shows that program has "performed an illegal operation"

I've discovered that if I open "C:/program files/Core Design" folder, the Tomb4 icon is still there. If I click on this, I'm able to play my game in the small window. The setup & uninstall icons are no longer there.

Pls advise.

It's me again. I now realize how silly I've been. I must have pressed Alt+Enter to make the screen small.
I still can't install, uninstall or play besides the way stated above.

FYI: In the Last revalation folder, I have
read me file, savegame.0 to .6, & the Tomb4 icon that starts the game for me.

Appreciate your assistance.

Shepherd,

As far as I can see there are a few things you might try:

1. The reason why you cannot find any .exe to launch the setup-screen is that there is no such file. The TRC-installation only installs readme.txt, PCTomb5.exe and binkw32.dll. To enter the setup-screen simply go to the TRC-installation path (normally C:\Program Files\Core Design\Tomb Raider Chronicles) and type “PCTomb5.exe -Setup”. That should do the trick.

2. You might want to skip this if you don’t want to mess with the registry editor. Start regedit (Start --> Run --> Regedit). Go to “HKEY_CURRENT_USER --> SOFTWARE --> CORE DESIGN --> TOMB RAIDER CHRONICLES --> SYSTEM”. Modify the DWORD values (1 is on and 0 is off). You will probably have to turn off the “Window” and the “Hardware” on - but I am not absolutely sure on this (Others?).

3. If #1 and/or #2 did not help you will have to uninstall the game manually. Delete the TRC folder (you might want to backup your savegame files!!!). Reinstall the game.

4 If it still doesn’t work then uninstall the game - again(!). Make sure that the TRC-folder is deleted. Start regedit (Start --> Run --> Regedit). Go to “HKEY_CURRENT_USER --> SOFTWARE --> CORE DESIGN” and delete “TOMB RAIDER CHRONICLES”. Reinstall.

Hope this can help you out,
