help! unable to play with sound

i can't play the game with any sound. i tried every combination in the setup and i found that only when i disable the sound, i can enter the game. Otherwise, the game quit with invalid page fault. I'm using creative live!value sound card and creative riva TNT2 value display card. anyone can help me?

sorry, the game i'm talking about is tr:chronicles ...
i've already upgraded the sound card and display card driver ... but still dosen't work...

ethanlam - Your card uses "LiveWare" drivers, check you are using not only Creative's latest version (www.liveware.com) but also the latest versio of DirectX.

sorry... still doesn't work ... i've d/l the latest live!ware, directx 8, and the drivers for both the sound card and display card...
no matter what sound device i choose, if i do not disable the sound, invalid page fault occurs every time...
