Does anyone know how to brighten the screen resolution for TRLR & Chronicles?... (apart from maximising Brigtness and Contrast on the monitor, which I have done but doesn't help much).
TR 2 & 3 had in-game options on Gamma levels which solved the darkness problem.
Is it my graphics card... does anyone have the same problem... The Irish levels in Chronicles are almost impossible to play - she has no flares!!! it's ruining my game!

Fridge. nice graphic! Mine was also dark and I had to turn my brightness right up. you could try the latest drivers for your card.

I run TR5 on a laptop under ME - TFT screen and no brightness control. Screen is so dark I can hardly make out what is going on.
Anyone have an idea how to fix it.
Cheers

http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif I struggled to nearly the end then someone suggested looking in my computer settings - I found an icon called "Adobe Gamma" ... I never set up this computer so I don't know how it got there.
We have Adobe photoshop etc. installed on this machine... I can use graphics programmes etc but my technical knowledge re. other things is limited - maybe this plug-in overrided a Windows Gamma control???...... However fiddling around with it I corrected TR4&5 viewing problems - everything else was very bright though!
Try looking in the your Computer Controls; Start/Settings/Control Panel/.... There must be some kind of settings there - if not maybe enquire for appropriate software view settings or the supplier of your computer???
Hope this is of some help

PS post me if you have played any really good Add-on levels - when you finish the wretched game that is... Taragona Heritage levels http://www.tinet.org/~jborrut/ better than those Irish levels

I used Powerstrip to adjust gamma on tr 2. worked great.
