no more auto aim

I'm in Mastabas or whatever and I was going through, ( I don't do walkthroughs, I'm a purist, takes me a long time tho with no cheats whatsoever) anyway, I finally figured out that you had dto shoot the gems or wahtever they are out of the lions mouths. So I went back to a previously saved game and all of a sudden I have no more auto aim. The wild dogs and bats are killing me! What the heck is going on! I'm going thru stuff I already did and it worked then, but not now. I can kill them now with my shotgun or revolver, but do not want to go thru that much ammo. Previously my pistols killed them fine. any help would be appreciated. The only thing that might be a clue is whne I stated playing today, suddenly my resolution was weird, so I changed that setting. Could that have done something? Thanks in advance for any help.

Go to your game options and find you control options. Click on auto aim and that should solve your problem. Your resolution should not have changed your aiming options. Different files. <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:</font><HR>Originally posted by robin:
