big trouble with the textures!!!!!!

How do you get the textures to come up?And i have 2 box's at the bottom of the screen that won't come up even when i hold down alt and enter!pllllllleeeeeeaaaaaaaassssssssseeeee help!!!!!!!

If you are loading in an existing project then both the objects and the textures are automatically loaded. If you are starting a project and are wanting to select your own textures then you have to click "Textures... Load TGA" on the menu bar and then select a texture file to use.

If, when you press <Alt>-<Enter>, the top line of the window (the blue bar) disappears and you are still unable to see something at the bottom of your window, you probably need to adjust the positioning of your window on the screen. Not knowing what you have for hardware, I'm not sure of what you have for tools to do this. Older monitors did it with just knobs. Some have both buttons as well as software that can make these changes. You are in a 1024 x 768 screen mode aren't you?
