View Full Version : My traps don't work!
I've got the level editor and built some amateur levels which aren't finished, but there is one thing that i can't get right.
On one part of the level, Lara runs up a slope and a boulder is supposed to roll down, but it doesn't!? i have tried different triggers and adjusting the slope and position of the boulder, but it doesn't roll, is there something i'm not doing or missing out?
When you ask if there is something that you're not doing or missing, I can't tell unless you tell me what it is that you've done in an attempt to get them to work. http://www.tombraiderchronicles.com/forums/smile.gif
I have tried different types- the 'pad', 'switch', 'trigger', 'key', I've used them all. I have adjusted the angle of the slope as well. The position of the boulder too. I hope this is enough, if not, say so.
Oh yeah! In the manual there is something I don't understand, on page 73, it says: 'the trigger must be set for on the same square for the switch and the door, and the switch trigger designated as such' Could you explain this please? :confused
Thanks

Chris... I went back into Angkor Wat and used the boulder there. A created a simple slope and placed the boulder at the top of it. After placing it, I raised it up some because it seems that the object gets placed initially centered in the floor. Then, down at the bottom of the slope I set the trigger for it. Be sure you select the rolling ball just prior to selecting the floor square for the trigger. Then simply click the violet button that sets that square to a trigger. It should work just fine. I haven't tried every level that has a rolling ball so if you're problem persists, let me know which level you're using and I'll try creating it in that level.
Thankyou! I have tried it and it worked perfectly! Thankyou! Thankyou! Thankyou!!
