WAD merger?

Does anyone know how to use the WAD merger?
It saves files as .WAD, but I need WAS, so I can load them with editor.
What are the TRWAD files?

I have a 1.2 version

The latest information that I have shows that you can not merge or combine different wads. Eidos clearly points out in their manual that the first and utmost thing a user needs to do is to select which wad that they want to incorporate into their level since you CAN NOT combine or use more than one wad with a level.

First off, welcome to the forum!

Secondly, not at the moment, but a few people are working on an program that might offer a possible merger though I don't know much detail now though.

Well, thanks anyway. Oh, where can I find any proved information on such utilities?
I would be glad to have a good source of information about the editor.
