Due to the number of requests and posts dealing with switches and triggers, I'm convinced that the next Tutorial will be on "Switches, Triggers and the Knack."
Working on or had troubles in the past with switches or triggers? Haven't used them but want to learn more about them?
Here's your chance to make sure that the Tutorial will include the material you're looking for. Respond to this Topic with the specifics of what you'd like me to include. If this revolves around an experience, please include the level as well as the specifics.

Right on Dale! I've been waiting for this. two things that come to mined right now are linking a lever switch to a flip map where one position is flip on and the other is flip off. also linking a flipmap to a jump switch. I'm sure I'll think of more soon. --Tanks again -PARADOX-
I thought I'd grab a chance! I may have replied a bit late, but if not, could you try and include info on how to only make a door open after pulling e.g three lever_ switches pulled in a certain order to open a door. So if the player gets the order wrong, the door doesn't open.

My request is working with the script.txt and english.txt files! I've wanted to create my own level with its own name but when I convert the script and english into a dat file it gives an error message. Maybe if you could go step by step with an example it would be helpful.
Dale, I wish to know how to trigger a flipmab when a completed puzzle piece is inserted into its hole.

1. how to open a door with a switch, and better yet, how to open the door with 3 switches like paradox73 mentioned.
2. how to make a hallway with spikes that will go down after you pull a switch?
3. how to make spikes appear in the game?
4. can you make your own objects to import into a wad?
that's all i have for now!
p.s. when's the tutorial coming out?
I agree with Chris C, i also need to know how to use two movable blocks so they open a door. :mad:
