How do I........?

I try constructing a level but it is really confusing. How do I use the buttons to make walls, doors, e.t.c.?

I tried initially to create my own level by just running the room edit program and pressing buttons etc to see what happened, but to no avail.
I strongly recommend that you print and run through the manual, it may take a few weeks but it is worth the effort. after that it's only your imagination that you need to test.
