I have a number of questions:

1. FLIPMAPS. I know what they are, but I don't know how to do them. I found one in Cleopatra's Palaces. When you pick up an item (a scarab beetle), a slope that you slid down earlier turns into steps so you can get back up. How do you do this?

2. I having slight difficulty getting my room to be outside. I changed the room reverb to 'Outside' and I selected the ceiling and clicked 'Transparent' (to which it turned yellow, but all it did was make the ceiling partially see-through. Any clues?

3. I don't understand this 'Puzzle Done' and 'Puzzle Hole' thing.

4. I once saw someone's level, where when a step on a block, the room below filled up with water. How do you achieve this? Is it linked with the 'Flip Map' in any way?

5. On the editor, what do the 'O', 'NL' 'M' 'B' and 'T' button stand for?

PS. I'm currently making a race track using the motorcycle. Is this idea original or has everyone done it?

1. basically a flipmap is an alternative version of an exising room which you switch on/off just like a door
2. to give the impression of outside, switch on the face edit, select the black square from the colour pallet then click on the ceiling squares and they will turn white, this means they will not appear in the level and the horizon/sky graphics will be visible. pressing the 'O' button just makes lara's hair move in the wind.
3.you place the puzzle and its respective puzzle hole into your level (obviously not together) the 'puzzle done' is only there for in-game use only don't place it.
4.Yes a water filling room is just a flipmap although a bit more effort is required with multiple rooms to give the full effect.
5. 'O' - Outside
'NL- Does nothing
'M' - activates mist in that room, experiment with numbers to give varying effects.
'B' used to mark desination of the clockwork beetle.
'T' sets a trigger for other triggers ( I haven't used them, maybe some could give a fuller answer)

Good luck with your race track.
