I'm having problems placing and using puzzle items and their respective holes.
Using Coastal wad.
If I place puzzle item 3 onto a square and position round onto the wall, I press 'o' for OCB menu and type '2' (pickup with crowbar) Once I generate the level I sometimes find that the puzzle item has moved down to 1 click off the floor and even with the crowbar I can not pick-up the puzzle.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Here's what I've found...

I placed Puzzle Item 3 on several squares. In one instance, the "Star" was down near the ground. In the other instances it was at the proper height. For some reason it just didn't like the one location. What I suggest is that if you run into this problem, try placing the puzzle piece on a different place of the wall. Had a little more time to go back and look at this... It seems to be "room" related. I found that putting a bunch of the stars on walls in one specific room and a bunch of stars in a different unique room ended up with them at a proper height in one room and down near the floor when seen in the actual game. When I raised up the ones that were shown near the floor in the game, they were then too high in the game. So I lowered them again and they then appeared at the correct height.

This is tending to show that if a star appears in the game near the floor, go back into the level editor and just raise it up a ways using the "ceiling +" and then lower it all the way again. For some reason this seems to make it appear at the correct height. Not positive yet that this solves it in all cases, but it did for all 6 stars that were initially too low.
