Help.

I seem to be having a problem with my crowbar animation on the catacomb wad.

I've set up my puzzle object in the wall and provided Lara with a crowbar. However when it comes to Lara using the bar to lever the object out of the wall she gets down on her hands and knees in a crawl position. The object goes through the motion and Lara does actually end up with it . . . it just looks naff. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It looks like you have not set the puzzle object to be 'picked up' with a crowbar
It's simple to fix
1. Select the puzzle piece on the wall
2. press 'O' on the keyboard to bring up the options box
3. enter the number '2' in the box currently set at zero, press return then click OK

Lara should now use the crowbar in the wall to pick up the item (see page 83 in the manual)
A word of caution, I experienced problems with wall puzzles pieces, where the height of the puzzle should be about 2-clicks off the floor. but when I created the TR4 version the puzzle changed height, therefore Lara could not pick-up the piece.
The best solution is to place the puzzle object onto the ceiling tile, then use the cleiling+ button to poistion the object 2 clicks off the floor.

I tried your method and I'm afraid it hasn't solved the problem.

Like I said, it triggers the menu screen at the crowbar icon but Lara, instead of poking the crowbar behind the object she gets down on hands and knees, the object wobbles, as though it's being levered of the wall and then Lara ends up with it . . . and then she stands up!?! It's a bit weird to say the least.

I was wondering whether anyone else has had this problem . . . and whether they have managed to cure it.

if you have tr west try to load a reference file and take everything about lara (lara,laraskin,laraholsters etc.) inclusive the crowbar and crowbar animation.
and then try it again.

OK, I got more puzzling news from the crowbar front.

I decided to try and see whether Lara would crowbar a door open, which she seemed to start to do only she now performs the position of the pole-climbing!!! Why are my crowbar animations all messed up????
