Can someone help, Ive only got the game yesterday but am struggling big time with this, I ve been pulling the same chain for the last 2 nights but gettin no where

I have the same problem. I´ve read the following, but I can't do it properly: when you pull the chain and let the guide into the room, you mustn't go back, you have to cross the room you're into jumping to one sign (on the floor) to another. That way the door in front of you opens. If you get it, please tell me

You have to jump on the signs in the shape of a backwards S. The ones you need to jump on should be illuminted slightly. If you jump on any of the wrong ones you have to start over.

ok, here's how it works: go to the doorway with the chain. pull the chain and the guide lights the water and illuminating certain squares on the floor. Now, you have to get to the other side ONLY TOUCHING THE ILLUMINATED SQUARES. It's easier if you jump from the middle of the squares. If you get to the other side correctly, the gate will open allowing you access to the Timeless Sands. if you didn't make it just on the lit squares, make you way back ot (without catching on fire) and slide down to the right. Pull the chain. It opens a gate letting you back up to the room, which is now re-set.
